Multiservice Fan Out

Deliver voice and data traffic to a large number of subscribers with multiservice fan out, distributing E1/T1 and Ethernet services from a single E3/T3 or STM-1/OC-3 wireless link.

RAD's multiservice multiplexers fan out voice, VoIP, LAN, Frame Relay, and other services to multiple users. Supporting individual clock sources, these devices transparently deliver traffic from a single standard E3, T3 or STM-1/OC-3 wireless connection to a large number of E1, T1, E3, T3, and Ethernet tributaries. The Optimux-1551, for example, distributes STM-1/OC-3 traffic to up to 63 E1 or 84 T1 links, while the Optimux-34 transmits traffic from a single wireless E3 over a combination of E1, T1 and Ethernet channels. Such multiservice fan out capabilities enable service providers and enterprises to cost effectively utilize wireless bandwidth when connecting dispersed locations and in campus networks, offering an ideal solution for daisy-chain and ring applications.
